|
These events draw their name from Google Summer of Code, of which the (Season) of Projects (*oP) also have been inspired from. *oP locations are not fixed, they are open for others to join, and flexible to adapt to latest changes such as event extensions when more time is needed. Should some tasks be open after *oP concluded, Follow-Up Weeks might be added. These might be held at different locations and not include a gathering of (all) those attending the *oP. In summary, *oP is the main event whereas the Follow-Up Weeks are the following period focused on closing any tasks left open (or newly introduced) by *oP. They do not refer to the general time a project planned during *oP might need to be executed. |
