The first Summer of Projects (SoP) was held in Manila, the Philippines, from July 12th to 27th, 2008.

The 2008 SoP edition was hosted and co-sponsored by Rising Era Marketing (REM).

The open attitude of SoP is all about the true spirit of "coming together and get things done" in a dynamic environment with limited resources and enthusiastic participants.

Planned topics included:

Discussion rounds featuring modernized and streamlined business practices
Creating dynamic business environments
The meaning of Web 2.0 and it's application to existing businesses
Analysis of web site requirements and setup for automated business operation
Centralized management of a web site network
Workshops about simplifying and modernizing existing businesses
