Andre loves cats and generally likes animals, he also loves kids and gets along very well with people of all groups and ages.
 
Andre is highly creative and he can come up at any moment with sometimes ingenious, sometimes hilarious ideas and way too often actually executes them. He can act spontaneously but usually thinks enough about it to avoid personal harm ;)

He often is told that he is a great entertainer; that sort of a o­ne-man show. Out of the blue he can run a comedy show which won him the nickname "Mr. Bean".

He is a gentleman that he doesn't take a seat in public transportation - unless it's really empty, gives priority to the elderly, is of assistance wherever he can be, and even asks tourists if they are lost.

 
Interests
 

Andre's interests are broad and he likes to try out new things. He is very interested in Science and Technology. During his boarding school time, he was the leader and manager of a remote-controlled airplane project as well as the producer of the in-house magazine. For several years Andre hosted a free public email and homepage service in Luxembourg, and he still does support various non-profit operations.
 
He was a volunteer for the regional rescue center CIM (now CIMW), doing shifts for both ambulance and rescue.
 
Andre is a spontaneous person and likes Sky-diving, Bungee and Paintball (war-game). He enjoys many sport activities, and his favorites are Volleyball, Bowling, Tennis, Badminton and Swimming.

Being part of his life and his greatest passion is to Travel. His trips to new places - "Expeditions" - never come without some great, sometimes dangerous, "Adventures". They lead him to new continents and cultures. He enjoys the Cultural Exchange when staying with families and friends, learning about local traditions and life. So far, Andre's travels include most European countries, Turkey, the United States and around Asia.

Andre is a great fan of the Xbox video game console. Though he doesn't get the time to play as much as he'd like, he still does his best in supporting the Hong Kong gaming community; providing help and exchange experiences. In the era of the first version of the official Hong Kong Xbox Forum from November 24, 2002 until October 24, 2005, Andre aka "seal" posted 2034 messages covering everything from marketing to technical support. This made him the biggest contributor with a messages share of more than 15%. He continues with his contributions to the new forums using gamertag "HKSEAL".

Andre is a contributor to ohloh , adding and updating projects he comes along.
 
Andre is also a a voluntary tutor (in particular English and German; IT; Swimming) and occasionaly writes articles.
 
O­n the other side, he likes old things and maintains a 1000+ years old house in Luxembourg. It gives him great satisfaction to clean it up, repair and sort out all kinds of things he discovers during that work.
