Weather restrictions
Andre often visits the Hong Kong SAR and Luxembourg, therefore his schedule might be affected by local weather restrictions.

Hong Kong

Local activities may be severaly restricted during typhoons and rainstorms, with the city entering a complete standstill once Typhoon Signal No. 8 and/or Black Rainstorm Warning has been issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Rainstorm

In case of a BLACK rainstorm warning preceded by AMBER and RED and therefore expected, businesses usually go on if they have already started before the warning was issued. If the warning has been issued before business hours, most operations will be delayed until the warning has been lowered or canceled.

Typhoon

Typhoons are announced in various warnings depending on the location of the typhoon and wind speeds in the territory.

Pre-No. 8 typhoon signals (1 and 3) serve as a general warning to prepare for a possible worse situatation in the next hours.

In case of a signal 8 typhoon warning, businesses might go on if they have already started before the warning was issued. If the warning has been issued before business hours, most operations will be delayed until the warning has been lowered or canceled. If the signal is lowered or canceled after noon, certain businesses will remain closed for the rest of the day; in particular in the finance trading.

Warning signals 9 and 10 are only issued after 8, therefore they will only extend the business impact of signal 8.

Luxembourg

Luxembourg's weather is far less dangerous than Hong Kong's but nevertheless daily life can come to a halt with sudden snowfalls and floodings. There is no particular warning system in force.
